AlgoLaser Delta 22W product details
AlgoLaser is once again making a name for itself and is bringing a new laser engraving machine onto the market with the AlgoLaser Delta. Just like that AlgoLaser Alpha This model also uses the same second-generation 22W COS laser, which creates an almost 1:1 square laser spot. This enables more precise engravings of up to 0,05 x 0,06 mm accuracy at 3% laser power and up to 0,16 x 0,14 mm accuracy at full 100% power.
Almost all materials can be processed, from various types of wood to plastics to stainless steel, which with a thickness of 0,1 mm can not only be engraved but also cut. According to the manufacturer, the AlgoLaser Delta cuts pine wood with a thickness of 30 mm in just one pass. Comparable laser engravers usually require several passes for this.
The high working speed of the device is an advantage. It moves at up to 30.000 mm/min. over the 440 x 415 mm work surface. By the way, this is also one of the differences to the AlgoLaser Alpha, whose work surface is slightly more compact at 400 x 400 mm and whose speed is lower at 20.000 mm / min.
For convenient operation, the AlgoLaser Delta is equipped with a touch display - another feature that the AlgoLaser Alpha lacks. Work processes can be started and monitored via the display. In addition, the new AlgoLaser V3.1 mainboard supports wireless connections via 5 GHz WLAN, so that work orders can be transferred wirelessly directly to the laser engraver.
The issue of safety should also not be underestimated when it comes to a laser engraving machine. If you want to protect your eyes, you should definitely get tested safety glasses that are suitable for the laser. In most cases, the glasses supplied are no good.
To ensure that nothing comes into view, the AlgoLaser Delta offers various safety precautions. There is an opaque protective screen on the laser module itself to prevent scattered light. The device detects unexpected tilts using a tilt sensor so that it switches off automatically. There is also an emergency stop switch for emergencies and the laser is also protected against voltage fluctuations and fire.
