GOGOBEST GM26 product details
With the GM26, the Chinese e-bike manufacturer has an extremely interesting e-bike on offer that also makes European customers sit up and take notice. For just 1299 euros, the GM26 is an EU-compliant e-bike with a mid-mounted motor. At this price you can definitely get weak. But first to the technical data.
The 250 watt central motor comes from the Far Eastern manufacturer "Ananda" and is certified according to CE and DIN EN 15194 standards. On the data sheet, the mid-engine can even keep up with manufacturers like Bosch. The motor requires a voltage of 36V and has a torque of 70 Nm. This is more than enough for a city e-bike and just enough for an e-mountain bike.
According to the manufacturer, the GOGOBEST GM26 masters gradients of up to 30°. The speed is limited to 25 km/h. If you like to move off the beaten track, the 27.5″ x 2.25″ tires will give you enough grip on your wheels.
However, the e-bike is only sprung by a suspension fork, which is why a ride on impassable terrain could be quite bumpy. GOGOBEST speaks to the GM26 especially for commuters and city dwellers.
The rear derailleur is a Shimano Altus RD-M370 with 9 gears. The 36V 10Ah battery is removable and allows a range of up to 60 km. The battery is charged within 5-6 hours. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure a short and safe braking distance. There is a bright LC display on the handlebars, which provides information about speed, range and the battery, among other things.
