The frame itself is designed for a load of up to 200 kg and is suitable for riders up to 200 cm tall. The saddle is adjustable by 23 cm.
The 350 watt motor is located at the front. With a conventional two-wheeler this would be quite problematic because front-wheel drive can have disadvantages in terms of handling compared to rear-wheel drive. With a three-wheeler like the GF100, the disadvantages, such as slipping in curves, are minimized. The engine manufacturer is "SUTTO".
According to the manufacturer, the torque is 40 Nm and the speed is typically limited to 25 km/h. The pedal assistance can be controlled in 5 levels via the LCD on the handlebars. A Shimano 7-speed gear shift supports trips without a motor. Braking is done using a standard V-brake. Mudguards are available on all wheels.
A 540 watt hour (36V 15 Ah) battery is responsible for the energy supply. The battery is removable for charging and has indicators that allow you to read the battery level at the touch of a button. In addition, the battery can be secured and deactivated using a lock.
The manufacturer sets the range in purely electric operation at 32 km. At least 70 km should be possible with pedal assistance, although the value is usually 20-30% less.
Our assessment? Lots of cheap components and a lot of potential for improvement when it comes to brakes and the like. However, if you are looking for a cheap trike frame and do a little bit of work yourself, you can turn the GOGOBEST GF100 into a solid e-trike.
