Chuwi AeroBook - Notebook with Intel Core m3

The Chuwi AeroBook is an inexpensive 13.3 inch notebook with a fast Intel Core m3 processor and 8GB of RAM. For just under € 350, the AeroBook is looking for supporters on the “Indiegogo” crowdfunding platform. You can find all the important information about the notebook in the following article!

Chuwi AeroBook - Compact and fast

"Bezelless" design

Chuwi attaches great importance to a compact design with a full view display for the AeroBook. The housing, mostly made of aluminum and only 8 mm thick, is no larger than a conventional 12 inch notebook. Nevertheless, the laptop houses a 13.3 inch IPS display with full HD resolution and full lamination technology. This is made possible by particularly thin display edges (bezel), which are just 5 mm. With a light 1.26 kg, the notebook is ideal for on the go.

Here you can buy the Chuwi AeroBook.

Chuwi has integrated not only the display, but also the chiclet-type keyboard into the housing in an almost borderless manner. The keyboard has an LED backlight and is optically adapted to the anthracite-colored housing. Directly below is the trackpad with 4-finger gesture recognition.

Intel Core m3-6Y30

An Intel Core m3-6Y30 processor works under the hood. The chip, manufactured using the 14 nm process, has been on the market since 2015, but is still one of the most powerful mobile processors. The processor works with 2 processor cores (0.9 to 2.2 GHz) including Hyper-Threading and an Intel HD Graphics 515 GPU. Experience shows that the processor copes well with image processing, games that are not too demanding, and other everyday software.

8GB RAM, M.2 SSD and connectors

The memory of the AeroBook amounts to an 8GB LPDDR3 dual-channel main memory and a 128GB eMMC5.1 data memory. The data storage can be expanded with the help of an M.2 SSD. You have direct access to your mobile storage media via a MicroSD interface and two USB 3.0 Type-A sockets. Unfortunately, Chuwi decided against the current USB-C standard. Further connection options are a micro HDMI socket and a 3.5 mm headphone input. The notebook is connected wirelessly with Dual-AC WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.

Chuwi AeroBook Review

38 Wh battery

A 38 Wh battery (7.6V 5000 mAh) supplies the notebook with power. Due to the economical components, Chuwi specifies the battery life with up to 8 hours. The notebook is charged via an ordinary DC socket. Nothing is known at the time of loading. Further features are four 0.8 watt speakers, a 2 megapixel camera and a microphone. The notebook is delivered with Windows 10.
