RedmiPad SE
Xiaomi is expanding its product portfolio again. With the new Redmi Pad SE, Xiaomi has a budget version of the Redmi Pad published last year. The target group are "young professionals" and students who are looking for a functional and stylish tablet that is suitable for both professional and entertainment purposes.
Large 11-inch display and cinematic listening experience
The 11-inch LC display with FHD+ resolution and 16,7 million colors promises a convincing viewing experience. A 16:10 widescreen format and a high contrast ratio of 1.500:1 contribute to this, which clearly displays details in both the darkest and brightest areas of the screen.
With a high 400 nits display brightness, nothing should stand in the way of readability outdoors. Gamers benefit from a high 90 Hertz refresh rate, which displays the picture particularly smoothly and ensures optimal gameplay immersion in games.
In addition, the tablet's enhanced Reading Mode 3.0 offers two true-to-life color options - Classic and Paper, which make reading more enjoyable. The TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free technology and the reduced blue light component of the display protect the eyes from tiring.
But not only the eyes are spoiled. Xiaomi has also thought about the listening experience. With Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, the Redmi Pad SE promises a cinema-quality audio experience, supported by four powerful speakers.
Snapdragon 680 and Android 13
The heart of the Redmi Pad SE is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which is still installed in many inexpensive tablets despite being three years old. The eight-core processor combines four Cortex-A73 cores with four Cortex-A53 cores that can reach clock speeds of up to 2,4 GHz.
In terms of RAM, Xiaomi offers different configurations: you can choose between 4GB, 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The package is rounded off by a 128GB eMMC 5.1. permanent storage . If you need more storage space, you can use a memory card to expand the internal memory up to 1TB.
The tablet is powered by a hefty 8000 mAh battery that can be charged via a 10W charging capacity. On the software side, Xiaomi relies on MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.
The hardware was packed in an aluminum housing in unibody design. With a weight of only 478 grams, the tablet is robust and yet easy to transport. It is available in three attractive colors: Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray and Mint Green.
