The watch makes an extremely high-quality impression, not least thanks to its stainless steel case (IP 68 & MIL-STD-810H), which is available in black or brushed versions. It also shares the design language of the OnePlus 12, the company's current flagship smartphone.

Equipped with the Wear OS 4 operating system, the OnePlus Watch 2 runs impressively smoothly. Switching between apps is quick and enables uninterrupted operation, which is not always a given with smartwatches. The display was razor-sharp and the touchscreen responded very precisely, so even typing on the small keyboard was no problem.

The OnePlus Watch 2 represents a major step forward for the smartwatch market with its dual-engine architecture, consisting of the Snapdragon W5 performance chipset and the BES 2700 MCU efficiency chipset. The architecture enables an impressive battery life of up to to 100 hours in full smart mode, a feature that sets it apart from many other smartwatches. It is also characterized by its 7,5W VOOC fast charging capability. Just 10 minutes of charging is enough for a day of battery life. The 500 mAh battery is fully charged in under an hour.

Aside from the technical specifications, the OnePlus Watch 2 serves as a personal fitness and wellness coach directly on your wrist. It collects and analyzes comprehensive health data that can be viewed in the OHealth app. The integration of Health Connect by Android allows collected health data to be securely synchronized with compatible apps. From monitoring more than 100 sports to detailed sleep analysis and stress level monitoring, Watch 2 is designed to promote positive changes in health and fitness.

OnePlus Watch 2 Android apps
Apps can be easily installed via Google Play.

Not to be forgotten are the integrated Google apps such as Maps, Assistant, Wallet and Calendar, which, together with support for numerous third-party apps, ensure a high level of convenience. With this, OnePlus promises the best of hardware and software in one device.

The OnePlus Watch 2 will be available for pre-order on OnePlus.com from February 26th and is available in Black Steel and Radiant Steel with a price starting at 329 euros.
