The focus of the Nord 2 5G is also on the camera and the fast 5G cellular network. The main camera relies on the 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 image sensor, which has already been installed in the OnePlus 9 Pro flagship as a sensor for the ultra-wide-angle camera. The sensor promises to capture up to 56 percent more light, which ensures better recording quality, especially at night. With the Nightscape Ultra mode, night shots are additionally improved.
In addition to the main camera, there is also an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a 119,7 degree field of view and a 32 megapixel selfie camera that uses the Sony IMX615 sensor. This is the highest resolution front camera to date that has been built into a OnePlus smartphone.
