FIIDO X product details
Anyone who has been dealing with the e-bike brand “FIIDO” for a while will probably already know the FIIDO X. At the end of 2022 it will be the latest city e-bike from the more or less well-known e-bike manufacturer from China.
However, the FIIDO X is not quite as new as you might think. Already last year is with the FIIDO D11 an optically very similar e-bike appeared. The FIIDO X is the further development in which errors have been eliminated and new functions added.
In the foreground of the FIIDO X is the striking and futuristic overbearing frame design. The entire e-bike weighs just 19,8 kg. The frame is mostly made of lightweight aluminum.
The FIIDO X can be folded in the middle of the top tube. As a result, the unfolded 149 x 58,7 x 80,3 cm e-bike shrinks to just 80,3 x 35 x 79,4 cm. Nothing stands in the way of transporting it in the trunk of a small car. To ensure that the compact folding bike can be ridden comfortably, riders should not be taller than 190 cm and not heavier than 120 kg.

The FIIDO X is available in a 250W or 350W version. With a weaker electric motor, the e-bike travels at speeds of up to 25 km/h. The slightly more powerful 350W motor allows a speed of up to 32 km/h. If you are driving on European roads, you should definitely choose the 250W model, because only this one meets European regulations. According to the manufacturer, there is a CE mark.
A torque sensor for a step-precise electric drive.
A torque sensor measures the torque applied by the driver, so that an intuitive driving experience is achieved. The 417,6 Wh battery (36V 11,6AH) of the FIIDO X is located in the seat post and can be removed for charging together with the saddle. Depending on the version, the range is between 110 km and 130 km.

When it came to anti-theft protection, FIIDO opted for an interesting solution. Either you remove the saddle including the battery, or you unlock the battery via a PIN pad located under the brake light. Without entering the correct PIN, the e-bike cannot be started.
Other features of the FIIDO X include a Shimano 7-speed gear shift, an LED headlight and an illuminated brake light, disc brakes on both sides and an LED display with USB charging socket.
