Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra: Concrete evidence of the new Roborock vacuum robot surfaced

Roborock could very soon present us with the long-awaited Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. A recently surfaced document from the American Federal Communications Commission (FCC) provides initial clues.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is once again a useful source for learning about the latest product developments. This time it got caught by Roborock, who recently submitted a review application to the FCC. In one of the documents dealing with the product label, a reference to a new robot vacuum cleaner was discovered: the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra.

The clue was found by an attentive member of the Roborock community on Reddit, triggering a wave of speculation.

  •  Redesigned Dock: The S8 MaxV Ultra's RockDock has a new model number, indicating an updated docking system. There may be a built-in hot water mopping function for a more thorough cleaning of the mopping pad.
  •  Extendable Side Brush Arm:  One of the most interesting features to emerge from the FCC document is an extendable side brush. This indicates improved cleaning ability in corners and along edges.
  •  Retaining the DuoRoller system:  The tried and tested DuoRoller riser from the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra also appears to be present in this model.
  •  RGB Camera :  Many people missed the RGB camera on the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, which was still present on the S7 MaxV Ultra. It makes sense that the S8 MaxV Ultra will again come with an RGB camera, which ensures improved navigation capabilities.
  •  Powerful suction and voice assistant : The S8 MaxV Ultra will most likely come with at least 7000 PA suction power and have a built-in voice assistant.
  •  Possible VibraRise System Update:  Speculation points to an improved VibraRise mop system.

 Expected release

The unveiling of the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra will most likely take place at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, with January 8th or 9th being considered as potential dates. This would also correspond to the pattern of previous Roborock product presentations.
