Kospet TANK T2 product details
The wearables manufacturer Kospet is expanding its product portfolio with the new TANK T2 smartwatch. What's special: Despite the comparatively low price of only 75 euros, the watch promises to be well equipped for outdoor activities.
Just like military equipment, the TANK T2 also meets the MIL-STD-810H standard. Kospet uses a solid metal casing that protects the watch against drops and impacts and allows swimming and diving up to 69 ATM according to the IP50K standard.
Despite its robust construction, it has an elegant appearance, making the smartwatch suitable for outdoor, sports and everyday situations. However, there is no GPS module for precise location during outdoor activities.
On the hardware side, the TANK T2 uses a 1,43-inch AMOLED color display for best readability and color representation. An always-on function also allows a permanent view of the time.
The Smartwach is powered by an economical dual-mode processor (RTL8763E) combined with a 410 mAh battery. Kospet promises impressive runtimes of up to 50 days in standby mode or 15 days in daily use.
For fitness enthusiasts, the smartwatch comes with a BioTracker sensor to record heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. In conjunction with a special sports tracking algorithm, a total of 70 different indoor and outdoor activities such as running, hiking, swimming or skiing are available to choose from.
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the TANK T2 can also be used as a hands-free system for phone calls or for playing music on your wrist. The built-in audio chip is even supposed to ensure hi-fi sound quality.
