200 Megapixel main camera
The HONOR 90 relies on a triple camera system that, in addition to the 200 megapixel main camera, combines a 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle and macro camera as well as a 2 megapixel depth camera.
With advanced technologies such as multi-frame fusion, noise reduction algorithms and pixel binning, HONOR promises remarkable light sensitivity and detailed recordings even under difficult lighting conditions.
An improved portrait mode should allow users to create high-quality profile pictures, with the background blending seamlessly with the subject thanks to an authentic bokeh effect. This mode also supports 2x zoom recording. Content creators, for whom selfies play an important role, benefit from a high-resolution 50 megapixel front camera.
The HONOR 90 improves videos with the help of artificial intelligence, which removes video noise and recommends the optimal video mode based on the scenery. With the AI Vlog Assistant you are able to record short 15 second clips with a single tap. A signal-to-noise ratio of 20 dB promises first-class audio quality in video recordings.
6,7 inch quad curved floating display
The screen is a 6,7-inch quad curved floating display, i.e. a display with all edges curved towards the sides. It achieves a resolution of 2.664 x 1.200 pixels and can display up to 1,07 billion colors. The display covers 3 percent of the DCI-P100 color space. With a brightness of 1600 nits, the display promises good readability in sunshine.
To ensure a good balance between smooth display and battery life, the refresh rate is dynamically adjusted to the displayed content. The maximum refresh rate is 120 hertz. In terms of eye comfort, the curved display offers a PWM frequency of 3.840 Hertz and is therefore certified as "Flicker-Free" by TÜV Rheinland.
Slim design
The HONOR 90 follows in the footsteps of its predecessors with its sleek appearance. The HONOR 90 is also comparatively slim and light with a thickness of only 7,8 millimeters and a weight of 183 grams. The smartphone sets accents with its dual ring camera design on the back.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and 5.000mAh battery
The HONOR 90 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition, which promises higher performance and efficiency than its predecessor. Experience has shown that apps and mobile games do not cause any problems for the processor.
On the software side, the HONOR 90 uses the current HONOR MagicOS 7.1 operating system, which is based on Android 13. The smartphone will receive at least two more major Android version updates.
A 5.000 mAh battery supplies the HONOR 90 with the energy it needs. Added to this is the 66-W HONOR SuperCharge technology that allows the battery to be charged up to 15% in just 45 minutes. However, the device does not support wireless charging.
