The vivo X72 5G is the new flagship model of the vivo Y-Series. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 System-on-Chip, which combines vivo with the current FuntouchOS user interface (Android 11), promises sufficient performance in everyday life. The 5G modem contained in the system-on-chip enables fast 5G cellular communications. It supports common sub-6 GHz networks and achieves high download rates of up to 2,77 Gbit / s. This is supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of data storage.
The data memory can also be expanded with a microSD memory card. The dual SIM function is then no longer available (hybrid SIM slot). So that the smartphone doesn't run out of breath too quickly, vivo has installed a large 5.000 mAh battery. This can be quickly charged with up to 18 watts.
The display is of the IPS type and has a diagonal of 6,58 inches with 2408 × 1080 pixels. The high resolution ensures that individual pixels cannot be seen with the naked eye and that one or the other film can be enjoyed.
A key feature of the vivo Y72 5G is the main rear camera. The camera system is divided into a 64 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera. Despite the affordable price, users of the vivo Y72 5G can expect Ultra HD, Ultra Wide Angle, Bokeh and Macro functions. Four functions that, according to vivo, enable the “Perfect Shot” in all situations. A 16 megapixel front camera rounds off the camera equipment.
Price and availability
