Revised design with ring module

What catches the eye first of all in the new OnePlus 7T is the revised design. What is striking is the new arrangement of the triple camera configuration, which is now combined in a polished ring module instead of vertically. The manufacturer expects an elegant balance between the slim housing and the three lenses, similar to a modern mirror reflector configuration. The frosted glass housing shines in two new colors - Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue - which noticeably reflect the light. The company's own glass processing technology in the 4th generation ensures a unique and unmistakable appearance.

Fluid display with 90 Hz refresh rate 

Also new is the particularly smooth-to-use 90 Hz fluid display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The AMOLED display technology and the use of the latest HDR10 + certification ensure particularly strong color rendering. The 90 Hz refresh rate of the panel makes scrolling and playing on the OnePlus 7T smoother than ever before. The particularly high brightness of up to 1.000 nits ensures that it is easy to read even in direct sunlight. The "Eye Comfort" display, certified by TÜV Rheinland, enables easy, eye-friendly reading before going to bed. The display is protected by particularly scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass from Corning.

Fast on the go with the Snapdragon 855 Plus

The OnePlus 7T is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile processor. The hardware easily masters daily multitasking as well as graphically intensive games and videos. With the lightning-fast UFS For particularly fast file transfer, the smartphone is equipped with either 128GB or 256GB UFS3.0 2-lane storage. This offers enough storage space for additional files, photos, music and videos.

The optimized RAM boost ensures intelligent allocation of the 8GB LPDDR4X memory. In addition to its robust performance, the OnePlus 7T offers powerful stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The audio optimizations ensure a clear, louder and balanced soundstage so that you can immerse yourself even better in the film or game. The smartphone is quickly charged thanks to the Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology. A complete charging process takes just an hour. That's a 23 percent increase over Warp Charge 30.

Also on board is the in-house OxygenOS, which expands Stock Android by over 370 optimizations. The system has a sophisticated design that offers sleek graphics and useful functions for more control. In addition, the OnePlus 7T is the first smartphone to officially have Android 10, Google's latest version of Android, preinstalled with the most important apps and services from Google.

Versatile camera

The round camera module of the OnePlus 7T has the 48 megapixel sensor Sony IMX586, an image sensor with a size of half an inch, as well as a 7P lens, a large aperture of 1: 1,6 and optical image stabilization. The powerful sensor ensures guaranteed high-quality images and videos regardless of the scene being recorded. The main camera is complemented by a double zoom lens, with which users have a variety of focus areas available for discovering new and interesting photo compositions, and a 16 megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an extended 117 degree field of view for larger viewing angles.

The new macro mode of the OnePlus 7T makes it possible to approach a subject up to 2,5 centimeters and discover the breathtaking details of life that often go unnoticed, such as the delicate dew on a leaf or flower petals. With the OnePlus 7T, users can record videos with all three lenses and stabilize the footage at the same time. In order to photograph night landscapes even better, users can now use the ultra-wide-angle lens to integrate a wider field of view into their recording and to capture more of the night landscape in front of them. The UltraShot photo algorithm developed by OnePlus optimizes the entire camera of the OnePlus 7T to deliver breathtaking photos even in poor lighting conditions.

Prices and launch

The prices and availability of the OnePlus 7T will be announced by OnePlus at the European launch on October 10th. With a very high probability, a OnePlus 7T Pro will also be presented in addition to the standard model. The start of sales is scheduled for mid-October.
