Teclast T30
Display and design
The Teclast T30 is the 2019 model from the manufacturer Teclast. In terms of equipment, the T30 can be assigned to the mid-range. A 10.1 inch IPS screen is used with a resolution of only 1.920 x 1080 pixels, which corresponds to a pixel density of 218 PPI. The display brightness is a full 370 nits, so nothing should stand in the way of readability outdoors. The panel is packed in a particularly thin 24.90 x 13.50 x 0.85 cm housing. The weight is a pleasant 560g.
connectivity
When it comes to connectivity and connection options, the Teclast T30 doesn't have to hide. The tablet is equipped with an LTE modem that supports the bands 4/1/3/38/39/40 in the 41G network. In the German cellular network, however, the T30 LTE can only be used to a limited extent! Bands 7 and 20, which are very widespread in Germany, are missing!
In the WLAN, the Teclast tablet can connect to both single-band (2.4GHz) and the dual-AC-band (5GHz). In order to be able to establish a connection with Bluetooth, the T30 has a BT4.2 BLE module. A GPS module enables precise location determination to be able to navigate with the Teclast T30, for example.
Processor and memory
The processor used is a MediaTek Helio P70. The eight-core SoC was released in April 2019 and is based on a 16 FinFET + nanometer manufacturing technology. The two clusters of the chip divide the processor into 4 powerful Cortex-A73 and 4 energy-saving Cortex-A53 processor cores. This ensures a smooth user experience! One or two mobile games can also be played smoothly thanks to the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
The memory is divided into a fast 4GB LPDDR4X main memory and a 64GB eMMC5.1 data memory. A memory expansion by means of a micro SD memory card is possible by an additional 128GB. The operating system is a largely unchanged Android 9 Pie.
Battery and others
Teclast specifies the capacity of the battery as 8000 mAh. According to the manufacturer, this is sufficient for 11 hours of full HD video playback, among other things. The battery is charged using the current USB-C standard. The external sound is reproduced via two loudspeakers. Headphones can be connected via a 3.5 mm jack audio socket. The docking connection is also worth mentioning. A separately available keyboard transforms the Teclast T30 into a mobile workstation.
