How fast can a smartphone charge? - Yes
For some people, a smartphone cannot charge fast enough. Especially when you are under time pressure and don't have a charging option on the way. Today, most smartphones are equipped with fast charging technology, which allows the devices to be fully charged in under an hour.
However, progress does not sleep when it comes to fast charging, and so there is real competition among manufacturers when it comes to fast charging.
Realme is at the forefront, calling the realme GT NEO 3 the “fastest-charging smartphone in the world”. This is made possible by the 150W UltraDart charging technology, which charges the smartphone's 4500 mAh battery (2x 2250 mAh) to 5 percent in just 50 minutes and to 15 percent in 100 minutes.
More power also means more risk, because the heat development and load within the battery cells increases. To counteract this, the smartphone is equipped with several safety precautions that constantly monitor the charging process.
The TÜV Rheinland quick charge certification, which the realme GT NEO 3 was able to claim, also promises a high safety standard. Even after 1600 charging and discharging cycles, realme guarantees a battery capacity of at least 80 percent.
First time with Mediatek Dimensity 8100 5G mobile platform
The realme GT NEO 3 is the first smartphone available in Europe equipped with the new Mediatek Dimensity 8100 mobile platform. The combination of powerful 8-core CPU (4x Cortex-A78 @2,85 GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 @2,0 GHz), an Arm Mali-G610 MC6 GPU and the production using the 5 nm process speak for a high level of efficiency without having to compromise on apps and mobile games.

There is also 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS3.1 data storage. Faster 5G mobile communications are available on both SIM slots (dual SIM). The realme GT NEO 3 supports the 5G NR-NSA and NR-SA bands that are common in Europe.
The GT NEO 3 is also moving with the times when it comes to the other wireless connection standards. Among other things, WiFi6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC for mobile payments are available. The software side forms realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 .
6,7-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel
If you don't like curved displays, you can breathe easy, because the realme GT NEO 3 uses a flat 6,7" AMOLED display that has a FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120 Hz. As an HDR10+ certified smartphone, you can watch HDR content from Netflix or stream Amazon Prime. The Hi-Res certified dual stereo speaker system with Dolby Atmos support delivers the right sound when watching films or gaming.
Also available in the elegant “Asphalt Black”.
The screen-to-body ratio is remarkably high, which realme states here at 94,2 percent. According to realme, the production uses a new COP packaging technology that makes a particularly narrow smartphone chin possible. The side edges measure just 1,48 mm, the upper edge 1,84 mm and the lower chin 2,37 mm.
The front is protected by particularly hard-wearing Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Hidden under the display is an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Main camera with 50 MP Sony IMX 766 sensor
The camera equipment of the realme GT NEO 3 brings back memories of that realme 9 Pro + , which we tested a few months ago. The triple camera on the back is divided into a 50 MP Sony IMX 766 main camera (f/1.88 aperture, OIS), an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture, 119° FOV) and a 2 MP macro camera (f/2.4 aperture ) .

Experience has shown that the Sony IMX 766 is an excellent image sensor that takes impressive photos both day and night. On the front is a 16 MP Samsung S5K3P9 front camera (f/2.45 aperture) for selfies. Also a sensor with excellent recording properties.

The realme GT NEO 3 series will be available from June 15th in Germany as part of an early bird sale at reduced prices. The RRP for the realme GT NEO 3 is 599,99 euros (8GB+256GB, 80W variant) or 699,99 euros (12GB+256GB, 150W variant).

And with that, realme said goodbye to the low prices... What's the point of the €600 please? In China, the smartphone costs less than €300. No sooner have they gained a foothold in Europe than we Europeans get the money out of our pockets. Same game back then with OnePlus. But it doesn't surprise me. Same (greedy) BBK concern.
