Teclast F7 Plus
Very thin, extremely light
The Teclast F7 Plus has a total thickness of only 7 mm and, despite the metal housing, weighs just 1.5 kg. In the noble business style, the notebook is suitable for everyday use as well as for business trips. The keyboard is of the chiclet type and is backlit. Please note, however, that the notebook is only available with a US keyboard layout! The touchpad is pleasantly large at 12.5 x 7.8 cm.
The 14 inch display is surrounded by a plain black border that is only 8 mm wide. The display itself is of the IPS type and has a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). IPS displays are characterized by a particularly high viewing angle stability. There is no touchscreen. The panel is protected by 2.5D arc glass that is rounded on the sides.
Powerful hardware
On the hardware side, the F7 Plus is equipped with the Intel Celeron Gemini Lake N2017 processor, which was released at the end of 4100. The quad-core processor has a basic clock rate of 1.1 GHz and bursts of up to 2.3 GHz. An Intel UHD Graphics 600 GPU is responsible for graphic applications, which makes one or the other PC game playable. The system performance is heavily dependent on the cooling capacity. It remains to be seen whether Teclast has the cooling under control.
The system is supported by an 8GB LPDDR4 memory, which is operated in dual-channel mode at 2133 MHz. For the data store is a 128GB M.2. SSD responsible. An upgrade of the SSD can be made completely uncomplicated over the bottom of the notebook. Windows 10 is, as is often the case with cheap laptops from China, pre-installed on the device.
Connections, battery and more
The most important connection options are available. In addition to two USB 3.0 Type-A sockets, there is an HDMI socket, a 3.5 mm jack audio socket and a memory card module. A dual AC WLAN card enables wireless data reception. Unfortunately, there is no RJ45 Ethernet socket!
Further features of the F7 Plus are a 2 megapixel front camera, which can be used for video telephony, and a stereo speaker system. The capacity of the battery is indicated by Teclast as 6500 mAh (38 Wh), which can be used throughout the day with normal use. The battery life specified by the manufacturer is 8 hours.

Hello, you write that the notebook is only available with US layout. Is it possible to replace the keys somehow or should the F7 Plus also appear with a different layout? I would really like to burn, because I am looking for a compact notebook for the university.

Hi Eschrat, the notebook will only be available in the QERTY layout. If you want QERTZ, you must use button stickers.
