VOYO VBook I7 Plus

VOYO has made a name for itself in the field of ultrabooks, convertibles and tablets from China. Advantages of OGS production include the elimination of the intermediate layer between the display and the touchscreen, which results in an overall lighter, more translucent and also thinner panel. Powerful hardware

Inside the VOYVO VBook I7 Plus is a powerful Intel Core i7-7500U dual-core processor with a maximum clock rate of 3.5 GHz. The processor is based on Intel's Kaby Lake architecture and is mostly found in compact notebooks and ultrabooks. The processor supports multithreading in the form of hyper-threading, whereby processor resources can be used more efficiently through the simultaneous processing of several threads. The processor graphics amounts to an Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU.

The graphics performance depends heavily on the RAM used. Fast and lush 8GB / 16GB DDR4 RAM are built in. The main memory works in dual-channel mode. The system-on-chip is definitely a match for older games such as CS: GO or Dota 2. Nothing stands in the way of the hardware decoding of HEVC and VP9. The VBook I7 Plus has a wireless dual-band AC WiFi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0 connection. The tablet takes photos and videos via a 2 megapixel front and 5 megapixel main camera. VOYO presents a very interesting hybrid tablet with the VBook I7 Plus. What stands out are the high-resolution OGS display with stylus support, as well as the powerful hardware, two features that should particularly appeal to demanding users. Seeing an Intel Core i7-7500U processor in an inexpensive tablet is more than surprising. Comparable devices in a similar price range have so far been searched in vain. However, you should first take a critical look at the device's cooling system. Insufficient cooling of such powerful hardware quickly leads to so-called "thermal throttling", which often noticeably slows down the processor performance. It remains to be seen whether the VOYO VBook I7 Plus has a sophisticated cooling system.
