Xiaomi has caused a lot of confusion in the last few weeks and months. The Chinese manufacturer's smartphone series are expanded to include S, Pro, Max or Lite models almost every week. Keeping an overview is difficult. Especially when the differences can hardly be made out.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite should be available from mid-May. Depending on the memory configuration, 349 euros (6 + 64GB) or 399 euros (8 + 128GB) are due.
Identical design
Outwardly there are no differences. The dimensions of the case are 57.8 x 74.2 x 9.67 mm. With a weight of 204g, the Mi Note 10 Lite is 4g lighter than the Mi Note 10. The back of the case is made of tempered glass. The frame is made of aluminum. The smartphone is available in the colors Midnight Black, Glacier White and the new color Nebula Purple.
Identical display
Identical to Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (Pro) is also the display. A 6.47 inch curved AMOLED screen with 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution is installed. The display is HDR10 compatible, is based on the DCI-P3 color space and shines with up to 600 nits. The screen protector is of the Gorilla Glass 5 type. The fingerprint scanner is hidden under the display.
Identical chip
The processor, which is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, is also identical. The main memory is available with 6GB or 8GB (LPDDR4X), the data memory with 64GB or 128GB (UFS2.1). 4G LTE (Dual-Nano-SIM), Dual-AC WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 are offered wirelessly. In addition to dual GPS, the sensors also include NFC.
Identical battery
The capacity of the battery is 5260 mAh. Fast charging is supported with up to 30 watts. Contactless Qi charging is missing.
DIFFERENT cameras
The difference lies in the cameras. Instead of a penta camera system, there is only a quad camera system. At the same time, a completely different sensor system is installed.
The main camera of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite does not have a resolution of 108 MP, but only a resolution of 64 MP. The sensor is a Sony IMX686 with f / 1.89 aperture. The second camera is an ultra wide angle camera with 8 MP resolution. There is also a 5 MP depth sensor for bokeh recordings and a 2 MP macro sensor. The front camera sensor is also different. The sensor installed here has a resolution of 16 MP.
