Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G
We already know the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G. Xiaomi has now presented a new edition of the ultra-thin and feather-light smartphone. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, which incidentally stands for “New Edition”, should bring the price down again.
However, there are not many differences to the normal Xiaomi Lite 11 5G. Instead of the Snapdragon 780G, the company has switched to the Snapdragon 778G. The current chip shortage is probably to blame.
Ultra-thin and ultra-light
A slim and eye-catching design meets solid mid-range equipment. With a thickness of only 6,81 millimeters, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is ultra-thin. The weight of just 158 grams also makes it ultra-light.
Particularly narrow 1,88 millimeter display bezels make the front appear almost borderless. The colors are also pleasing to the eye. Here you have the choice between Truffle Black, Bubblegum Blue and Peach Pink.
6,55 "AMOLED dot display
Xiaomi achieves high image quality by using a 6,55 “AMOLED dot display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. With its 10-bit TrueColor color depth, the coordination with the DCI-P3 color space and the compatibility with Dolby Vision as well as HDR10 +, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is up to the current requirements from film and streaming.
Good performance with the Snapdragon 778G
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G is a good choice when it comes to mid-range mobile platforms. A total of 8 processor cores, which in turn are divided into a performance cluster with four Cortex-A78 cores (2,4 GHz) and an energy-saving cluster with four Cortex-A55 cores (1,8 GHz), give the smartphone the power it needs to perform current tasks to master. As a model of the Snapdragon G series, the mobile platform is optimized for mobile gaming. An Adreno 642L GPU ensures smooth gaming fun.
In mobile communications, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE understands itself with a wide range of SA and NSA 5G mmWave and sub-6 GHz frequencies as well as Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS). Dual 5G enables the simultaneous use of two SIM cards in the 5G network. Fast WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC are available. The choice of memory fell on 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS2.2 data storage.
Xiaomi specifies the capacity of the battery as 4.250 mAh. This should get you through the day without any problems. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE can be charged with up to 33W.
64 MP triple camera
Let's say a few words about the cameras. There are no differences to the camera of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G at first and second glance. The camera module on the back is divided into a 64 MP main camera (1 / 1,97 ", f / 1.79), an 8 MP ultra wide angle camera (1/4", f / 2.2) and a 5 MP tele macro camera (1,5 ", f / 2.4). Selfie friends can expect a 20 MP front camera.
AI-controlled functions such as one-click AI cinema, film-ready video filters and a new vlog mode round off the camera experience.
