XGODY N6 Pro review
This device redefines expectations for the budget class. The XGODY brand was previously known for minimalist projectors, but the N6 Pro demonstrates a clear evolution. It boasts top features like Netflix certification, native Full HD resolution, and an impressive 700 ANSI lumens of brightness. It's currently available on Amazon during Prime Day. With the code U93WGZDU, you can get it for €109,99 instead of €199,99. (XGODY - N6 Pro on Amazon) My task in this test was to thoroughly examine whether the promised specifications are convincing in practice and whether the device can fulfill its ambitious claim as a serious home theater solution.

Design and manufacturing quality: A surprisingly stable appearance
The first impression of the N6 Pro quickly deviated from typical budget expectations. Despite its low weight, which often conveys a feeling of inferior quality, the build quality is surprisingly good. There are no rough edges or awkward joints. The plastic casing is robust, and the entire structure appears stable.
The stand deserves special mention. It is extremely solidly constructed and forms the mechanical foundation for the projector's flexible use. The projector also impresses visually with its white finish and cream-colored front. Even the angled power cable connector is cleverly designed, as it doesn't impede the mount's free movement.
The overall appearance of the N6 Pro is above average in quality and functionality for this price category. However, if the surface isn't level, you'll need to place something underneath it, as shown in the picture, since the device unfortunately doesn't have a horizontal calibration feature. In my case, this is due to the slightly sloping floor.
180° joint and freedom of installation

The suspension is the key to greater flexibility and a central feature of the N6 Pro. It allows the projector to be tilted continuously up to 90 degrees. This allows the image to be projected vertically onto the ceiling—imagining a spontaneous ceiling cinema is just a wave of the hand away.
The mount reliably holds the selected position without the device sinking over time. Combined with automatic image correction, this 180° mobility creates unprecedented installation flexibility in this class. This feature makes the N6 Pro the ideal device for renters or users who don't want a permanent installation.
Image quality, 1080P and 700 ANSI in detail

What's really interesting, though, is the picture performance. The native resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080p) delivers a sharp, clear image. Details are well represented, significantly increasing the immersion of movie watching or gaming. Using the advanced picture settings, I can precisely adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation.
At 700 ANSI lumens, the projector operates in a solid brightness range. This performance is noticeably better than most competitors and allows for reasonable projection even when the room isn't bright enough to be bright.

For a brilliant, high-contrast image with full color depth—especially with large screens—a completely darkened room is essential. The XGODY N6 Pro is therefore primarily designed for dedicated movie nights, but in this scenario it delivers impressive brightness for its price.
The Whale OS operating system and the app world

The Whale OS operating system forms the smart foundation of the N6 Pro. It's an Android-based system optimized for projectors. Its design is appealing and operation is smooth.
The biggest advantage is Netflix certification, which guarantees high-resolution and seamless streaming. Prime Video and Disney+ are also pre-installed. I also found a wide range of popular streaming services (RTL Plus, DAZN, Sky) in the installed app store. This makes the device a fully-fledged smart streaming platform out of the box.
The power of automatic and manual image size

Ease of use is one of the plus points in this test. The automatic keystone correction instantly adjusts the image when I move the projector. The autofocus also works precisely and ensures a razor-sharp projection.
Full image control: The projector offers the user the ability to manually adjust the size of the projected image. This is especially useful if the wall surface isn't ideally large. Combined with the manual focus control, you gain full control over all important image parameters, complementing the impressive automatic functions. Even at larger angles, where the projector prompts you to fine-tune manually, I often found the automatic preset to be very helpful.
The duel between fan noise and speaker performance
The integrated 5-watt speaker is only mediocre in its class; it delivers clear, but low-volume sound. For a true cinematic experience, an external audio source is necessary.
The biggest drawback is the fan noise. Despite the stated noise level of under 35 dB, the noise is clearly audible in a quiet room and can be distracting during quiet movie scenes. While my gaming tests (Xbox Series X) masked the noise, movie purists will have to accept this compromise for the attractive price.
Gaming on the big screen and the Prime Day Chance
The XGODY N6 Pro is an excellent gaming projector. The gaming experience on the huge projection surface with the Xbox Series X is extremely immersive. The Full HD resolution is perfect for console gaming, and the latency was imperceptible to me as a tester.
