Elfin Flip 4K: Compact 4K projector for flexible locations
The Elfin Flip 4K is the new top-of-the-line model in the series. With dimensions of 254 × 245 × 78 millimeters and a weight of 1,55 kilograms, the projector is relatively easy to move between the living room, bedroom, or office.
For image display, XGIMI uses an RGB triple laser light source with a brightness of 1.600 ISO lumens. The resolution is 3840 × 2160 pixels (pixel shift). According to the manufacturer, the projector achieves a color gamut coverage of 110 percent of the BT.2020 color space and a color accuracy of ΔE < 1. The dynamic contrast ratio is specified as 20.000:1.
An optical zoom with a projection ratio of 0,98 to 1,3:1 is designed to simplify setup. According to the specifications, the image size can range from 40 to 200 inches. Automatic setup features include continuous autofocus, automatic keystone correction, intelligent image alignment, obstacle detection, and wall color adjustment.
XGIMI particularly emphasizes the gaming features of the Elfin Flip 4K. In Game Mode, the projector is said to achieve a latency of up to 1 millisecond at 1080p and 120 Hz. It also supports VRR, ALLM, Black Equalizer, and a dedicated gaming mode.
Elfin Flip Laser: with Full HD and RGB triple laser
Alongside the 4K model, the Elfin Flip Laser is also being released. It also uses an RGB triple laser light source with 1.600 ISO lumens, but has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. XGIMI specifies a dynamic contrast ratio of 10.000:1.
Unlike the Elfin Flip 4K, the Elfin Flip Laser lacks optical zoom and some of its gaming features. According to the specifications, the latency is 20 milliseconds at 1080p and 60 Hz. The projection ratio is 1,2:1, and the possible image size is 40 to 200 inches.
Measuring 254 × 245 × 75 millimeters, the Elfin Flip Laser is similarly compact, but at 1,38 kilograms it is slightly lighter than the 4K model.
Google TV, Harman Kardon and modern connections
Both new models run on Google TV and offer access to streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and other apps. Google Cast and DLNA are available for wireless streaming.
For sound, XGIMI relies on an integrated 7-watt speaker from Harman Kardon. Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plus are supported. The Elfin Flip 4K uses WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, while the Elfin Flip Laser uses WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
The Elfin Flip 4K is also better equipped in terms of connectivity. It offers two HDMI inputs, one of which supports eARC, two USB 2.0 ports, and an audio output. The Elfin Flip Laser has one HDMI port with eARC and one USB 2.0 port.

Prices and availability
The XGIMI Elfin Flip series will be available from July 15, 2026. The Elfin Flip 4K costs €999, and the Elfin Flip Laser costs €799. The series is complemented by the already available Elfin Flip Plus for €499, which continues to feature Full HD resolution, an LED light source, and 500 ISO lumens.
Pre-orders start on June 25th via the official XGIMI website. According to the manufacturer, early birds will receive a free portable 70-inch screen.
