Under the sofa, without rearranging half the room
Dust, hair, and crumbs tend to accumulate under beds, sofas, and low sideboards. Many wet/dry vacuum cleaners quickly reach their limits in these areas due to their housing design.

Thanks to Dual Edge Cleaning, the brush roll on both sides of the brush head reaches particularly close to baseboards, walls, and kitchen counters, ensuring that as few uncleaned edges as possible are left behind.
When hair ends up in the tank instead of around the brush roller
Long hair and pet fur are among the classic weak points of rotating brush rollers. After several cleaning cycles, a tight ring of hair often forms, which has to be removed by hand or even with scissors.
The FloorShine 830's Anti-Tangle 3.0 system uses 104 integrated stainless steel combs. During operation, these combs remove collected hair from the brush roller and direct it towards the dirty water tank.
Eureka states a tangle rate of 0 percent based on internal laboratory tests. How well the system works in a given household naturally depends on hair length, hair volume, and floor type. However, the design is clearly intended to reduce the need for manual untangling of the roller.
After cleaning, the station takes over.
Once the floor is clean, the less pleasant half of the job begins with many carpet cleaners. The damp brush roll must be rinsed and then stored in a way that allows it to dry completely. If it remains damp for too long, unpleasant odors will quickly develop.
With the FloorShine 830, the brush roll is automatically rinsed in the station after cleaning. During the self-cleaning process, a 720° rotation of the brush roll ensures that it is rinsed as thoroughly as possible. The system then dries the roll with hot air up to 75°C to reduce residual moisture and thus prevent unpleasant odors.
Of course, this model isn't entirely maintenance-free either. The dirty water tank should still be emptied and rinsed regularly. However, the manual washing and drying of the brush roll is largely handled by the station.
Performance where it's needed
Not every area of the apartment is equally dirty. The living room might only have a few hairs and dust bunnies, while the kitchen still has sticky breakfast remnants.
According to the manufacturer, the integrated Smart Dirt Detect function recognizes the degree of soiling and automatically adjusts suction power and water output. The current mode, battery level, and maintenance instructions are displayed on a 2,9-inch LED display.
With a runtime of up to 60 minutes, the device is also suitable for larger living spaces. The actual battery life depends on the selected cleaning mode and the specific floor conditions.
