Saros 10R with water connection
Until now, only the Roborock Saros 10 was available in a version with a water connection in this country. In other markets, such as the USA, both the Saros 10 and the Saros 10R have been sold with a fixed water connection for some time. This is now changing, as Roborock is officially bringing the Saros 10R with direct fresh water and wastewater connections to Germany.

The new model variant is already available at Amazon (Link) It is listed and is expected to be delivered by mid-August. The current price is around €2.000, significantly higher than the conventional Saros 10R, which is offered for approximately €1.300. Whether this is the final price remains to be seen.
The key difference from the regular Saros 10R lies in the base station. The fixed connection to the fresh and waste water eliminates the need for separate tanks, making the station approximately 30 cm high instead of 48,8 cm. This makes it easier to place, for example, in built-in cabinets or smaller niches. However, a suitable water connection, such as those commonly found in kitchens and bathrooms, is required.

The robot itself remains unchanged. The Saros 10R remains particularly flat at around 8 centimeters in height, navigates precisely via camera, and features an extendable mop system with a continuous fresh water supply. Automatic mop drying, a brushless cleaning system to combat tangled hair, and extensive app functions are still part of the overall package.
We have both the Saros 10 (for testing) as well as the Saros 10R (for review) in their previous version with a water tank and both are currently among the best the market has to offer in terms of vacuum and mop robots.
