Roborock Saros 10 and Saros 10R – Ultra-slim vacuum robots presented at CES 2025

Roborock Saros 10

The Saros 10 has been specially developed for households with low furniture and complex floor plans. Thanks to its RetractSense navigation system, the robot vacuum cleaner can retract its laser tower to easily clean under low furniture.

Navigation is supported by a time-of-flight sensor and the wide-angle vision module with a field of view of 100°, which precisely detects and avoids obstacles.

The suction power of this model is impressive at a strong 22.000 Pa. For wiping, the Saros 10 uses VibraRise 4.0 technology with a vibrating wiping plate. The advanced wiping function with a vibration surface that achieves 4.000 movements per minute ensures thorough and hygienic cleaning.

When driving over carpets, it can automatically lift the mop plate and, in the case of deep-pile carpets, even place it back in the station on its own.

 Additional features of the Saros 10 

•  AdaptiLift™ Chassis: Clears door thresholds up to 4cm and lifts up to 10mm to clean deep pile carpets.
•  DuoDivide brush system: effectively prevents hair from wrapping around the brushes.
•  VertiBeam™ technology: Detects cables, furniture and other obstacles to the side and avoids collisions.
•  FlexiArm™ Riser: An extendable side brush supported by another FlexiArm for wiping skirting boards.

Roborock Saros 10R

The Saros 10R complements the series with a focus on intelligent navigation and efficiency. Equipped with the StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 and VertiBeam™ technology, the Saros 10R offers precise 3D mapping of the environment and detects up to 108 different obstacles. It works completely without a laser tower, which makes the device particularly flat at just 7,98 cm.

The suction power is slightly lower than that of the Saros 10 at 19.000 Pa. Instead of a vibrating mop plate, this model uses two rotating mops. The Dual Anti-Tangle System ensures that hair does not wrap around the brushes and the AdaptiLift™ chassis can handle door thresholds and carpets up to 4 cm high. The extendable FlexiArm is also available.

Also new is the Multifunctional Dock 4.0, which is designed to significantly improve the cleaning process:

•  80°C hot water mop cleaning for hygienic cleanliness.
•  Fast charging function: Full charge in just 2,5 hours.
•  Automatically adjusts the charging cycle to save energy.

Common features of the Saros series

Both models are Matter compatible and can be seamlessly integrated into smart home systems such as Alexa, Siri or Google Home. With the new Roborock SmartPlan 2.0 app, cleaning plans can be customized and optimized, and OTA updates ensure that the devices always remain up to date.

Prices and availability

Both models are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2025. Roborock has not yet announced official prices, but given their features, both devices are likely to be in the upper price segment.
