Roborock is further expanding its Qrevo series. With the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and the special edition Curv 2 ProX, the manufacturer is now bringing two new premium models to Germany. While the basic architecture is based on the proven CurvX, performance, hygiene, and automation have been further developed in several areas. Both models start at an MSRP of €1.299.

Familiar base with more performance

The Roborock Curv 2 Pro inherits many features from the CurvX. These include the AdaptLift chassis, which adapts to carpets with pile heights up to 3 centimeters, and the retractable LiDAR system, which reduces the height to 7,98 centimeters. The DuoDivide main brush with anti-tangle system is also still included and automatically raises when needed. Two rotating mops also provide a combined mopping function.

The suction power increases to 25.000 Pascal. The CurvX previously reached 22.000 Pascal, while the original Curv reached 18.500 Pascal. This should make the new model work better, especially on deep-pile carpets. Another new feature is that the mops can be automatically deposited when the robot drives onto carpets. This should prevent deep-pile carpets from becoming saturated with moisture.

Docking station with higher temperature

The multifunctional station has been enhanced in several ways. Mop washing now takes place with 100-degree hot water. The CurvX operates at 80 degrees, and the Curv at 75 degrees. The warm air drying has also been improved, now reaching 55 degrees instead of the previous 45 degrees.

Roborock Curv 2 Pro rises above threshold

Additionally, there's automatic tank filling and automatic dust emptying, which is said to allow up to seven weeks of operation without user intervention. A cleaning solution dispenser is also integrated. This feature was already available on the CurvX, but not on the original Curv.

Dirt detection is included in all three models and automatically adjusts the washing cycles to the degree of dirt on the mops.

For navigation, Roborock continues to rely on LDS laser technology. A 3D ToF navigation, such as that used in the Saros 10R or Saros Z70, is not integrated. The Curv 2 Pro compensates for this with improved object detection and additional sensors designed to detect obstacles more reliably.

Control via the voice command "Hello Rocky" is still included, as is support for the Matter smart home standard. This makes it easier to integrate the Curv 2 Pro into different systems without relying on proprietary interfaces.
