PVY plants trees for every e-bike sold – cooperation with JUST ONE Tree launched

Updated by Timo Altmeyer on the 23. April 2025

E-bike manufacturer PVY is breaking new ground in environmental protection. Effective immediately, the company will plant a tree for every e-bike sold. This is made possible through a new partnership with the non-profit organization Just One Tree, which supports reforestation projects in deforestation-affected regions worldwide.

With this new partnership, PVY aims to actively contribute to the reforestation of degraded forest areas. JUST ONE Tree supports reforestation projects worldwide in regions particularly affected by deforestation. The planted trees help capture CO₂ from the atmosphere, promote biodiversity, and create new jobs in local communities.

"Innovation in mobility should always go hand in hand with responsibility for our environment," explains a PVY spokesperson. "With this partnership, we not only want to make urban transport more environmentally friendly, but also make a tangible contribution to the restoration of our planet."

For every e-bike sold, PVY covers the cost of planting a tree on behalf of the customer. This means that every purchase actively supports climate protection, the preservation of natural habitats, and long-term ecological stability.

On the websites of  PVY extension  and  JUST ONE Tree  In the future, interested parties will be able to regularly track how many trees have already been planted and what environmental impacts they have had. The initiative complements PVY's existing sustainability measures, such as the use of environmentally friendly materials and energy-efficient technology in production.
