POCO X7 and X7 Pro: Differences in detail
The two models POCO X7 and X7 Pro have a lot in common, including a 6,67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with a 1,5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The only difference is the brightness of the POCO X7 Pro, which reaches a peak of 3.200 nits, and is slightly brighter than the POCO X7.
There are differences mainly in the processors and battery performance:
- POCO X7 Pro : Powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra , it offers high-end performance and is complemented by 6.000 mAh battery capacity. With 90W HyperCharge, the battery is fully charged in just 42 minutes.
- POCO X7: Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, it is not quite as powerful but a bit more energy efficient. The 5.110 mAh battery supports 45W fast charging and offers enough endurance to get through the day.
Both devices run on Xiaomi HyperOS. However, the POCO X7 is still delivered with Android 14, whereas the POCO X7 Pro already comes with HyperOS 2, i.e. Android 15, at launch. The new Xiaomi HyperOS 2 relies on AI functions such as Google's AI assistant "Gemini". Both devices will receive major operating system updates for three years and security updates for four years.

Cameras: Good equipment for everyday use
For the main camera, both models use a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor, which features optical image stabilization (OIS) for better photos in difficult lighting conditions.
The camera equipment is supplemented with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, while the X7 also has a 2 MP macro lens. Both models have a 20 MP front camera for selfies.
Iron Man Edition in superhero style
Marvel fans can look forward to an Iron Man Edition of the POCO X7 Pro. The special edition features a striking 3D relief design with Iron Man's helmet and arc reactor. Golden accents and deep red colors complete the design.
The user interface has also been adapted accordingly. Red app frames and animations bring the Iron Man aesthetic directly to the display. Technically, however, the Iron Man Edition is the same as the normal X7 Pro.
