Flagship battery in the mid-range
The POCO M7 uses silicon-carbon technology, which was previously found in more expensive models. According to the manufacturer, this allows for up to two days of use or 28 hours of video playback. Even at -20 degrees Celsius, the smartphone should last for 14 hours of video playback thanks to the integrated Battery Extender chip. Even with one percent remaining charge, the manufacturer says it still offers 64 minutes of talk time.
Charging is possible with 33-watt fast charging or 18-watt reverse charging. There are also clever battery features like "Zero Power Instant On" and "Boost Charging" that are designed to make everyday smartphone use a bit more convenient.
Entertainment in large format
The 6,9-inch FHD+ display is the largest in the M series to date and features AdaptiveSync with up to 144 Hz. TÜV Rheinland certification for Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free is designed to make extended use easier on the eyes. The setup is complemented by Hi-Res Audio and up to 200 percent volume boost, clearly geared toward gaming and streaming.
Inside, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor is powered by up to 16 GB of RAM (via memory fusion) and up to 2 TB of storage expansion. The software runs Xiaomi HyperOS 2, including the Google Gemini AI assistant and "Circle to Search." This marks the first time Google's latest AI feature has been introduced to the affordable POCO series.
Camera and design
For the camera, POCO relies on a dual system with a 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Modes like Auto Night Mode and Dynamic Shots are designed to improve image quality.
Visually, there are three variants: a simple black, a silver with subtle accents, and a mecha-inspired blue. All models are IP64-certified and therefore protected against dust and splash water.

Prices and availability
The POCO M7 comes in two storage variants:
- 6 GB + 128 GB: 169,90 Euro RRP
- 8 GB + 256 GB: 189,90 Euro RRP
At launch, POCO is offering early bird prices (until September 1, 2025) of €129,90 and €149,90, respectively. Buyers can also choose between Redmi Buds 6 Lite or a Xiaomi power bank as a free gift (while supplies last).
