Slim but Solid

With a case thickness of just 6,7 millimeters, the nubia Air is positioned as one of the thinnest smartphones in its class. The case weighs 172 grams and is IP68 and IP69K certified. This means it can not only survive 30 minutes in 1,5 meters of water, but also withstand high-pressure water jets. "Slim but Solid" is ZTE's advertising slogan for the device.

Despite the compact size, the manufacturer has installed a 5000 mAh battery that can be wired charged at 33 watts. ZTE claims the battery can handle more than 1000 charging cycles without significant degradation.

Cameras and AI functions

On the back is a 50 MP dual-camera system (wide-angle + depth sensor). Selfies are taken care of by a 20 MP front camera. AI features such as HDR, night mode, video stabilization, and a vlog mode are designed to improve image quality.
