What can we expect from the CMF Phone 1?
The CMF Phone 1 is the first smartphone from the CMF by Nothing sub-brand, which will launch in September 2023. According to leaks and rumors, it could be the company's cheapest smartphone to date.
The price is estimated at around $245 (approx. €230). Budget buyers are probably already salivating. But cheap doesn't mean inexpensive at Nothing. The CMF Phone 1 is said to be equipped with a 6,67-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120 Hz, a Dimensity 7300 SoC and either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.
But the unusual design is likely to be typical for CMF and Nothing. Leaks indicate a bright orange back with a large rotary control in the bottom right corner. What is that for? Maybe it can be used to control the volume or switch between camera modes. We are excited!
The new CMF Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2
At the same time as the CMF Phone 1, Nothing will also introduce the second generation of its popular CMF Watch Pro and CMF Buds Pro. The first generation of these products already impressed with an excellent price-performance ratio, and we expect Nothing to continue this recipe for success.
The CMF Watch Pro 2 will likely feature a round dial, a departure from the square design of its predecessor. It is also speculated that the watch could offer interchangeable watch faces, similar to the Huawei Watch GT Cyber. Although no details are known yet, improvements in activity tracking, user interface and connectivity could be in the works.
The CMF Buds Pro 2 will also be unveiled on July 08th. Again, no exact details are known yet, but you can expect Nothing to focus on improving sound quality and possibly new features like advanced noise cancellation.
