The collaboration brings together two companies with different histories but similar philosophies. Nothing, known for transparent, recognizable technology products, meets KEF, one of the most established names in high-fidelity audio.
According to Andrew Freshwater, Head of Smart Products Marketing at Nothing, the partnership marks the next step in the company's audio strategy: "By combining KEF's decades of experience with our design-led approach to technology, we are laying the foundation for a new standard in everyday listening.“ KEF also sees the collaboration as an opportunity to reposition its own know-how in a contemporary context.”Together we want to redefine what premium audio can look and feel like for the next generation“, explains Grace Lo, President & Head of Global Marketing at KEF.
Both companies have remained tight-lipped about specific products so far. All that is known is that several devices are already in development. However, the announcement suggests that Nothing plans to expand its audio portfolio beyond traditional in-ear headphones in the future, possibly toward over-ear models or wireless speakers.
