New design with high recognition value
The Phone (3a) Lite uses Nothing's familiar design language, but appears somewhat more minimalist than the more expensive models. The back is still made of glass, encased in a sturdy aluminum frame. Despite the streamlined Glyph system, the device remains instantly recognizable.
Instead of multiple LED segments, there is now a simple glyph light that displays notifications or the camera countdown. The housing is IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance and is available in white or black.
Triple camera with large sensor
The triple-lens system combines a 50 MP main sensor from Samsung (1/1,57 inch) with an ultra-wide-angle camera and a macro camera. Powered by the TrueLens Engine 4.0, Nothing promises detailed photos with natural color reproduction, even in low light. Video recording is possible in 4K at 30 fps, and the 16 MP front camera ensures sharp selfies.
Display with 120 Hz and 3.000 nits peak brightness
The 6,77-inch AMOLED display offers FHD+ resolution (1080 × 2392 pixels), 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3.000 nits brightness for HDR content.
Thanks to 10-bit color depth, over one billion colors are displayed and 2.160 Hz PWM dimming reduces flicker for comfortable viewing.
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro provides performance
Inside, the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, manufactured using a 4nm process, powers the device. This octa-core chip clocks at up to 2,5 GHz and is supported by an improved cooling system. It also features 8 GB of RAM, expandable by an additional 8 GB of virtual memory, and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card. Dual 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3 are also included.
Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15
On the software side, the Phone (3a) Lite runs Nothing OS 3.5, which is based on Android 15. The interface remains minimalist, with practical features such as the Smart Drawer for automatic app organization, Private Space for protected content, and App Locker for enhanced security. Nothing guarantees three years of Android updates and six years of security updates.
New additions include Essential Key and Essential Space, two AI-powered tools for capturing and organizing ideas and notes. Essential Search allows users to search content offline.
Long-lasting battery with 33W fast charging
According to the manufacturer, the 5.000 mAh battery lasts up to two days. With 33W fast charging, the Phone (3a) Lite reaches approximately 50 percent in about 20 minutes. It also supports 5W reverse charging for accessories such as headphones or smartwatches.
Price and availability
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite will be released on November 4, 2025, and will cost €249 (8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage). Pre-sales start on October 30, 2025. nothing.tech and selected retailers such as MediaMarkt Saturn.
