"We killed the Glyph Interface" – or did we not?
What at first glance sounds like a radical change of course is likely the opposite. Much indicates that the familiar Glyph interface hasn't been abandoned, but rather fundamentally redesigned. Speculation is already rife, especially on Reddit.

There, it's speculated that the new glyph interface might use dot-matrix technology. Nothing's teaser images, which traditionally depict Pokémon, were posted this time in a strikingly angular pixel style. Particularly striking is the teaser for the Pokémon Arbok, which is the only one in grayscale. Reddit users brings it to the point:
"Maybe this is too much overthinking, but now that we know the glyph interface is gone, could that arbok be a straight up example of the possible dot matrix on the back of the new phone 3??"
That's not entirely out of the question. The idea of an LED back with a dot matrix structure would fit Nothing's playful, visually distinctive design philosophy and would once again be a truly unique selling point.
Perhaps we'll even see a colorful LED matrix with RGB lighting, capable of displaying not only notifications but also animated graphics or custom icons. Nothing knows how to create excitement. There will likely be a few more teasers until the official launch in July, and with a bit of luck, we'll finally get some clarity on what exactly has happened with the Glyph interface.
