Nothing OS 3.0: What's new?

The update is based on Android 15 and of course remains in the style of Nothing. Minimalistic but still super functional. The customizable lock screen has been improved and you can now also use shared widgets on it. This allows you to easily share appointments, to-dos or other information with friends and family.

The brand new photo gallery app also has a lot to offer. Better search functions and new editing tools such as filters and markings. This makes quickly optimizing your images even easier.

For those who love order (or desperately need it), the AI-powered Smart Drawer automatically sorts your apps into folders. Chaos on the home screen is now a thing of the past.

In addition to the obvious innovations, Nothing has also made some major changes under the hood. These are the improvements:

  •  Quick settings: Now even clearer.
  •  Popup view: multitasking, but smarter.
  •  Better performance: less jerking, more flow.
  •  New typography: Looks sleeker, feels more modern.

Who gets the update (rollout plan)?

The rollout for the Phone (2) and Phone (2a) is currently underway. Users of the Phone (1), Phone (2a) Plus and the new CMF Phone 1 will be able to enjoy Nothing OS 2025 in early 3.0.
