More comfort, better sound
Visually, the Melomania P100SE remains true to the P100, but has been optimized in key areas. For even greater comfort, the headband features softer padding and, thanks to a new spring design, is designed to adapt even better to different head shapes. Both the battery and the ear cushions are replaceable and can be ordered as accessories.
Cambridge Audio has also further refined the sound. The proven 40 mm drivers with sandwich membranes and neodymium magnets remain and are supported by a Class A/B amplifier. New is the DynamEQ digital sound optimization, which is designed to ensure that fine sound details are not lost at low volumes. This technology was developed exclusively for the SE version and is not compatible with the regular P100.
Bluetooth 5.3, aptX Lossless and wired operation
The connection to the audio source is either wireless via Bluetooth 5.3 or via a traditional cable. In addition to AAC, the Melomania P100SE now also supports aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless, enabling wireless listening in Hi-Res Audio quality (up to 96 kHz at 24 bit). A USB-C port and an included 3,5 mm jack adapter are available for wired use.
Like its predecessor, the P100SE can also be customized via the Melomania Connect app. A 7-band equalizer allows you to fine-tune the sound to your liking. Presets for different music genres are included, and an additional gaming mode is designed to reduce latency in games and movies.
Up to 100 hours of battery life
Cambridge Audio also promises top battery life. It's said to last up to 60 hours with active noise cancellation and up to 100 hours without ANC. Fast charging is also supported. Just 5 minutes of charging provides 2 hours of playback with ANC or 4 hours without ANC.

The Cambridge Audio Melomania P100SE is now available from specialist retailers and the Cambridge Audio webshop. Available in blue, black, and matte white. The suggested retail price is €279.
