Just in time for the contemplative season, JMGO presents two new laser projectors, the O2S Ultra and the N3 4K, which make the classic television look old.

JMGO O2S Ultra with ultra short throw for large images

The O2S Ultra is designed as an ultra-short-throw projector, enabling large image diagonals without complicated installation. Its projection ratio is a mere 0,16:1, allowing for a projection of approximately 100 inches from a distance of only about 16,8 centimeters. Maximum projection sizes of 150 inches are possible.

Technically, JMGO relies on its own MALC RGB Pure Triple Laser 3.0 system. Three laser light sources promise high color fidelity with 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, a strong contrast ratio of 4.000:1 (FOFO) and a high peak brightness of 3600 ISO lumens.

The 4K resolution is specified according to the CTA standard and complemented by HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Fast movements are said to be displayed smoothly thanks to MEMC image processing.

Sound and Smart TV functions are directly integrated.

For audio, JMGO collaborates with Dynaudio. The integrated speakers support Dolby Atmos and are designed so that an additional sound system is not strictly necessary. Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, and other streaming services are integrated via Google TV and can therefore be used without external players. Voice control via Google Assistant is also possible.

The JMGO O2S Ultra starts at a recommended retail price of 2.999 euros and is currently available at a lower price in the JMGO shop.

JMGO N3 4K focuses on flexibility and variable setup

The JMGO N3 4K takes an even more flexible approach. Instead of ultra-short throw, it uses a variable projection ratio of 1,0:1 and 1,3:1 with optical zoom. This promises lossless adjustment of the image size without requiring a fixed location for the projector.

The movable gimbal design allows for 360-degree horizontal rotation and up to 160-degree vertical tilt. This makes the N3 4K suitable for ceiling projection or changing locations within a living space.

Image quality and features of the N3 4K

The N3 4K also utilizes MALC 3.0 Triple Laser technology. According to the manufacturer, its 4K resolution covers 110% of the BT.2020 color space and is designed to excel with color-intensive content. With 1800 ISO lumens, its brightness is lower than that of the O2S Ultra, making it particularly suitable for darkened rooms.

Two integrated 10-watt speakers, supporting Dolby Audio and DTS, handle the sound. As with the larger model, Google TV, including Netflix, is directly integrated. Automatic focus and keystone correction ensure easy setup.

Prices and availability

The JMGO O2S Ultra is available now at the recommended retail price of 2.999 euros, while the JMGO N3 4K is offered for 1.199 euros.
