720 Wh battery for long tours
One of the most interesting features of the MG600 Lite is its comparatively large battery. The frame houses a 36-volt battery with 20 Ah (720 Wh), which, according to the manufacturer, uses Samsung cells. Propulsion is provided by a brushless rear motor with a nominal output of 250 watts and a peak output of up to 650 watts. According to the manufacturer, the maximum torque is between 55 and 65 Nm. Assistance is provided up to a speed of 25 km/h. Five assistance levels are available.
What's particularly interesting is the switchable sensor. Riders can choose between torque and cadence sensors. In torque mode, the motor assistance is more closely aligned with the force applied to the pedals. This can make the assistance feel more natural. This sets the MG600 Lite apart from many cheaper trekking e-bikes, where buyers are limited to a permanently installed sensor type.

The most important upgrade of the current model year is found under the saddle. The 2026 version of the MG600 Lite now comes standard with a suspension seatpost.
It's designed to absorb shocks and vibrations before they reach the rider. This should provide a noticeable comfort advantage, especially on cobblestones, poor bike paths, dirt roads, or longer tours. Combined with the suspension fork, this results in a significantly more comfort-oriented setup than a fully rigid trekking bike. According to the specifications, the front suspension fork offers 120 mm of travel.
Maxxis tires and hydraulic four-piston brakes
For the suspension, Lankeleisi uses 27,5 x 2,4 inch Maxxis Ardent tires. These relatively wide tires are not only intended for asphalt, but also offer additional reserves on gravel, forest tracks and light off-road terrain.
Braking is handled by hydraulic ZOOM HB876 disc brakes with four-piston calipers. A high-performance braking system is particularly important for a heavy e-bike. The MG600 Lite weighs around 30 kilograms without a rider and, according to the manufacturer, has a maximum load capacity of 200 kilograms.
A Shimano Altus 1x8 drivetrain is available for gear selection. A single 48-tooth chainring is located at the front, combined with eight sprockets at the rear. This reduces complexity compared to a drivetrain with multiple chainrings while still offering sufficient gear ratios for typical trekking and touring applications.
Turn signals already integrated into the frame
The MG600 Lite also offers a unique lighting feature. In addition to the LED headlight, the taillight and turn signals are integrated into the frame. This gives the rear a clean look, while the turn signals provide additional visibility in the dark.
Additional features include a color LCD display, aluminum alloy fenders, and a 6061 aluminum frame. According to the manufacturer, the bicycle is designed for riders between approximately 160 and 195 centimeters tall. The stated IP54 rating allows for use in the rain, though it does not make the bicycle completely waterproof.
