Compact design for more application possibilities
One of the most striking innovations of the WINBOT MINI is its compact design. While the predecessor (our WINBOT W1 Pro Test) was still comparatively large with 27 cm side length and 7,75 cm height, ECOVACS now uses a much slimmer design. This brings with it several advantages:
- Better for windows with grilles or handles: Due to its lower height, the MINI can also clean windows that are difficult to access due to anti-burglary grilles or handles.
- Ideal for small windows: The compact size is particularly useful in narrow hallways or hard-to-reach corners.
- More flexible than its predecessor: The WINBOT W1 Pro already had problems with certain types of windows - slanted windows and very small glass surfaces were a challenge. The smaller design of the MINI could help here.

Technical improvements for more efficient cleaning
In addition to its compact design, the WINBOT MINI comes with some technical upgrades that set it apart from its predecessor.
Ultrasonic spray system with double nozzles
The new ultrasonic spray system distributes a fine mist over the glass surface, which should make cleaning more economical in terms of the use of water or cleaning agents. This was already one of the strengths of the WINBOT W1 Pro - the new double nozzle technology of the MINI could further enhance this effect.
WIN-SLAM 3.0 Navigation
The navigation has also been revised. The robot uses the WIN-SLAM 3.0 system, which is designed to enable optimized route guidance with three cleaning modes (Fast Clean, Deep Clean and Spot Clean).
- Fast Clean – Quick cleaning for lightly soiled windows
- Deep Clean – intensive cleaning for stubborn dirt
- Spot Clean – Focused cleaning for individual spots

Precise edge cleaning
One of the weaknesses of many window cleaning robots is cleaning edges and corners. According to ECOVACS, the WINBOT MINI achieves a cleaning coverage of 99,5% and can even clean glass surfaces with edges as small as 2 mm. This would be a significant improvement over the WINBOT W1 Pro, which often left streaks on the edges of the windows.
safety and comfort features
Window cleaning robots must be particularly safe because they work vertically on glass surfaces. The WINBOT MINI uses a 9-fold safety system with several protective mechanisms:
- 7500 Pa suction power ensures a secure hold on the window
- Integrated emergency power supply in case of a power failure
- Shock absorption system to cushion collisions with frames or obstacles
- safety rope to prevent possible falling

The safety features are similar to those of the WINBOT W1 Pro , whose 2.800 Pa suction power proved to be reliable. The higher 3.200 Pa power of the MINI should therefore ensure an even safer hold.
