Compact 2 in 1 station
The Freo S's dock performs two functions: It charges the battery and automatically empties the dust container. The 3,5-liter bag inside has an antibacterial coating and is designed to last up to 180 days with normal use. On the front, there's a simple start button and an LED bar that shows what's going on.
At 228 × 162 × 330 mm, the station is significantly smaller than the multi-docks of the Narwal top models with fresh water and waste water connections.

Vacuuming and wiping in one go
In vacuum mode, the Freo S delivers up to 8000 Pascal, controlled by four cleaning modes. This is designed to capture fine dust, pet hair, and larger particles equally. The airflow is aerodynamically optimized to maintain full suction power even over extended periods.
When mopping, the Freo S applies a constant eight Newtons of force to the floor and uses three selectable water flow rates. The water tank holds 300 ml, and the dust container in the robot itself holds 250 ml. Both are removable and can be cleaned under running water. There's no automatic mop cleaning system like Narwal's top models. The pads are cleaned by hand.
In pure suction mode the noise level is below 62 dB, in wiping mode below 60 dB.
Navigation with LiDAR and 3D sensors
An LDS LiDAR scanner provides orientation, mapping the living space in real time. This is supported by 3D structured light and several precision sensors that detect obstacles with millimeter precision.
According to the manufacturer, the Freo S can clean up to 140 m² in a single pass. It can overcome door thresholds and carpet edges up to 20 mm high. Cleaning occurs in a zigzag pattern, ensuring complete area coverage. Multiple maps can be stored in the internal memory.

Control via app and voice assistant
The Narwal app is available for Android and iOS. It offers access to cleaning schedules, adjustment of suction and wiping performance, and multi-map management. Individual rooms can be targeted.
If you prefer hands-free operation, you can also start the Freo S via Alexa or Google Home.
