Kingroon KP3S Pro Product Details
With a price of just under 3 euros, the Kingroon KP180S Pro is one of the inexpensive FDM 3D printers. This device should appeal to beginners in particular in the 3D printing scene.
With an overall size of 32 x 32,5 x 36 cm, the 3D printer is comparatively compact. You hardly need any knowledge about the structure, because the 3D printer is mostly delivered already assembled.
Printing is done on a 210 x 210 x 200 mm heating bed, which heats up to 110° in a short time. Different filament types can be printed, from PLA, ABS to TPU and flexible filaments. The layer resolution is between 0.1 – 0.4 mm.
The TMC2225 steppers ensure particularly quiet printing, so that the Kingroon KP3S Pro does not stand out too much in terms of noise. The filament is fed into the nozzle with the help of a Titan Direct Extruder.
Kingroon has hidden the power supply in the base so that it is not bothersome. The power consumption is given as 240 watts. If the power fails, printing can be resumed from where it stopped.
Supplying the 3D printer with spare parts or even upgrading it is not a problem, since most parts can be obtained without any problems. The manufacturer even offers upgrades itself. There is a linear rail upgrade kit for the Y-axis for about 50 euros. The 3D printer is operated via a 2.4″ touch display.
