8-microphone array and AI audio technology
The Wave features an eight-microphone MEMS microphone array that captures voices at 48 kHz high-fidelity from up to five meters away. This is supported by AI-based noise cancellation that filters out more than 300 types of background noise, from keyboard clicks to street noise. Echo and reverberation cancellation, along with automatic level control, make voices sound natural and clear.
For different application scenarios, Wave offers adaptive beamforming with five directional characteristics, from omnidirectional for group meetings to supercardioid for particularly noisy environments.
Touchscreen operation and recorder functions
A 1,82-inch touchscreen allows you to control recording and volume, mute microphones, and upload recordings to the cloud. With 32 GB of internal storage, the device can store up to 1.000 hours of audio, including features like tagging and AI pre-recording that automatically saves the last five minutes.
The integrated 9.800 mAh battery allows up to twelve hours of wireless talk time.
AI integration with Insta360 InSight
The AI meeting assistant InSight is also launching alongside Wave. It offers transcriptions in 99 languages, speaker recognition, glossaries for industry-specific terms, and automatically generated summaries and to-do lists. Furthermore, the AI agent can answer questions directly about the conversation content, including links to the relevant timestamps.
Wave buyers receive the InSight Basic Plan with 300 minutes of transcription per month free at launch. The Pro subscription expands this to 1.200 minutes and offers additional features.
Integration with Link 2 Webcam
For a complete conference setup, Wave can be paired with the Insta360 Link 2 AI webcam. The microphone's directional tracking ensures that the camera automatically focuses on the person speaking.

Price and availability
The Insta360 Wave will be available worldwide from September 25, 2025. Insta360 StoreWherein Amazon and other retailers. Prices start at €319. Accessories include a desk mount, a Y-cable for simultaneous charging and data transfer, and a desktop controller.
A firmware update will also make it possible to wirelessly cascade multiple devices in the future.
