Insta360 is launching the Ace Pro 2 Arctic White Limited Edition in new videography bundles. Instead of focusing solely on action cameras, this time the emphasis is more on lifestyle appeal. The camera and accessories come in a uniform white and are designed to blend seamlessly into modern creator setups.
Technically, the Arctic White Edition remains at the level of the standard version. This includes the dual AI chip, 4K60fps in PureVideo mode, and a tilting 2,5-inch touchscreen. New software features such as a portrait mode, Live Photos, and Leica and Cine color profiles, including NC Film, CC Film, and Vintage Vacation, deliver stylized images straight from the camera.
Xplorer Grip Pro Kit turns the action cam into a compact camera
The USB-C connected grip adds a physical dial for exposure, shutter speed, and filters, as well as a separate zoom control. A detachable shutter release button is designed to evoke the feel of a classic camera.
The handle itself contains an integrated 2.010 mAh battery that continues to charge the Ace Pro 2 during use and is intended to extend the recording time to up to 5 hours and 40 minutes.
Pocket Printer brings instant photos back
The Pocket Printer Arctic White allows you to print photos wirelessly via Bluetooth directly from your camera. This compact printer uses dye-sublimation printing and produces water- and dust-resistant 3-inch photos with an Ace Pro 2 watermark.
Using the Insta360 app, images can be enhanced with new light leak overlays before printing. Film grain, light leaks, lens flares, and retro timestamps are designed to create the typical vintage look.
New Flash + Fill Light for night photography
A 2-in-1 flash + fill light for action cameras is available separately. It offers up to 4.000 lux at a distance of 0,5 meters, TTL flash automation, four brightness levels, and an adjustable color temperature from 2.500 to 6.500 Kelvin.
The light attaches magnetically, can be controlled via Bluetooth, and is waterproof up to 13 meters. This makes it suitable for night portraits, outdoor scenes, and creative low-light photography.
Three bundles at launch
The Ace Pro 2 Arctic White is available in three variants.
- The Flash Print Bundle includes the Xplorer Grip Pro Kit, Pocket Printer, Flip Screen Hood, and Classic Leather Case. It is aimed at creators who want to print photos on location in a retro style.
- The Xplorer Mist Bundle combines the grip with a black mist filter and screen protector. It's designed for cinematic vlogging and street photography, but is not available in the US.
- The Xplorer Pro Bundle is available exclusively in the USA and includes the Xplorer Grip Pro Kit. It is aimed at users who primarily want improved ergonomics and battery life.
Availability
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Arctic White Videography Bundles are now available in the Insta360 online store and at select retailers. Pricing for the German market was not mentioned in the announcement.
