nova 13 series: A design statement with solid inner values
The nova 13 series wants to look good and at the same time impress with its technology. The most powerful device in the series is the nova 13 Pro with a dynamic texture design on the back, which almost looks alive due to the refraction of light. It is available in colors such as loden green and black, which give the device a classy, unobtrusive look.

But the smartphone can do more than just look good. The 50 MP main camera with variable aperture (f/1.4 to f/4.0) promises sharp photos, even in difficult lighting conditions. The camera setup is complemented by a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an ultra-wide-angle macro camera. Those who like selfies will appreciate the 60 MP front camera, which can also take ultra-wide-angle shots for group selfies.
The 6,76-inch OLED display has vibrant colors and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The charging speed is also impressive. With 100 W SuperCharge, the 5.000 mAh battery charges up to half in just nine minutes. That's not groundbreakingly new, but it's still comparatively fast.

The nova 13 series starts at 549 euros for the basic model and 699 euros for the Pro model. Huawei is offering a launch offer with extras such as the FreeBuds 5 and a case - a good deal for fans of the brand.

Mate X6: Foldable technology that inspires – but not for everyone
The Mate X6 is Huawei's latest foldable smartphone. When closed, it offers a handy 6,45-inch external display that can be opened up to a generous 7,93-inch internal display with one hand. Both OLED screens support 1 to 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, which ensures smooth animations and a pleasant user experience.

Huawei particularly emphasizes the robustness of this device. The frame is made of aluminum, while the new Kunlun glass provides additional stability. In addition, there is IPX8 certification, which means that the Mate X6 should also be able to withstand water, which is rather the exception for foldable devices.
The main camera offers a variable aperture that automatically adjusts to the lighting conditions, while the tele-macro camera aims to score points with a 4x optical zoom. The so-called Ultra Chroma camera is particularly exciting, as it is designed to display colors even more precisely thanks to spectral channels. It remains to be seen whether this makes a difference in practice.

With a price of 1.999 euros, the Mate X6 is a foldable for tech enthusiasts. Huawei is offering a Watch GT 4 and a service package free of charge at launch.

FreeBuds Pro 4: Strong sound in a classic design
With the FreeBuds Pro 4, Huawei is launching a new generation of true wireless headphones that are designed to score points with clear sound and good noise cancellation. The headphones use a quad microphone system that reduces ambient noise by up to 100 decibels, which should pay off especially in noisy environments.

For music fans, a dynamic 11 mm driver and a flat membrane ensure that highs, mids and bass are reproduced precisely. The battery life is up to 30 hours when the charging case is used. An interesting feature is the head motion control, which allows calls to be answered by nodding.
The FreeBuds Pro 4 cost 199 euros and are therefore clearly in the premium segment.
