Huawei MateBook D Series (2020)
Elegant design and FullView display
The MateBook D-Series uses the FullView display specially developed by Huawei. The anti-reflective 16: 9 IPS display has a full HD resolution (1920 × 1080) and is characterized by a high display brightness of more than 250 cd / m². The particularly narrow bezels are worth mentioning. The screen-to-body ratio of the MateBook D14 is an impressive 84 percent - with the MateBook D15 it is even 87 percent. Instead of placing the front camera above the display, it can be lowered into the keyboard. Packed in a high-quality aluminum housing, the dimensions are 322,5 x 214,8 x 15,9 millimeters (D14) and 357,8 x 229,9 x 16,9 millimeters (D15). Both notebooks are real lightweights and weigh 1.380 grams (D14) and 1.530 grams (D15).
AMD Ryzen 5 mobile processor
Under the hood, the AMD Ryzen ™ 5 3500U mobile processor works in both models. This ensures a stable performance, whether for office work, image processing or video editing. The processor is supported by 8GB DDR4 RAM and an optional 256GB or 512GB SSD. The integrated graphics card AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics ensures rapid graphics processing in gaming. Huawei's innovative Shark Fin Fan 2.0 cooling system is on board so that there is no loss of performance at any time.
A 14Wh battery is built into the D56 for the power supply, which guarantees an average of up to 9,5 hours of video runtime. The Huawei MateBook D15 is equipped with a slightly smaller 42Wh battery, which still has 6.3 hours of continuous video playback. Charging is conveniently carried out using the USB-C standard, which is also known from current smartphones.
Huawei Share OneHop technology
Both notebooks support the innovative Huawei Share OneHop technology. If you have a Huawei smartphone, the data can be transferred wirelessly and easily between smartphone and laptop. New multi-screen functions make it possible to share the display with a compatible Huawei smartphone. For example, files can be dragged from one user interface to the other or content stored on the smartphone can be displayed directly on the laptop.
