Powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 in a compact format
Inside the new MagicBook Pro 14 is an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor. The processor features 16 cores (8 performance and 8 efficiency cores) and can reach up to 5,4 GHz in Turbo mode. The notebook supports two performance profiles: a 50-watt mode for quiet office or web work and an 80-watt mode for demanding applications like video editing or graphic design.
To keep the resulting heat under control, HONOR relies on a new cooling system with asymmetric fans, a thicker heat pipe, and a larger cooling surface. The air circulation has also been redesigned to ensure consistent performance even under high continuous load.
There's also little to complain about in terms of storage. 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM (up to 8400 MT/s) and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD come standard. Those who need more can install another SSD via the M.2 slot. The MagicBook Pro 14 is also well-equipped in terms of ports. There are two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, HDMI 2.1b, and a 3,5 mm audio jack.
3.1K OLED display with focus on eye comfort
The screen uses an OLED panel in 3:2 format. It has a resolution of 3120 × 2080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. With 500 nits of brightness (700 nits peak), it remains legible even in bright environments. The panel delivers color fidelity with 100% DCI-P3, true 10-bit color depth, and a very low Delta E < 0,5.
The display is designed to remain comfortable even during extended use. It features 4320 Hz PWM dimming, an e-book mode, dynamic brightness, and TÜV certifications for blue light reduction and flicker-free operation.
Large battery, fast charging, reverse charging
Despite its slim casing (15,9 mm), HONOR installs a 92 Wh battery. This should provide up to 12 hours of battery life in everyday use. Charging is via USB-C with up to 100 W. According to the manufacturer, it reaches almost 30% in around 50 minutes, and a full charge takes about 68 minutes.
A nice extra is the 60 W reverse charging. If you're on the go, you can charge your smartphone or tablet directly from your laptop, eliminating the need for a separate power bank.
Cross-device tools for better workflow
When it comes to software, HONOR relies on its own ecosystem. Features like HONOR Connect, HONOR Notes, Global Favorites, and HONOR Share are designed to significantly simplify collaboration between laptops, smartphones, and tablets. HONOR Share also works with iPhones, which can significantly simplify data sharing across devices.
