IP68, IP69 and a new super-steel hinge
The Magic V6 is the first foldable laptop with combined IP68 and IP69 certification. This means it is completely dustproof, can withstand continuous immersion, and is also resistant to high pressure and hot water jets.
A key element is the newly developed Super-Steel hinge, made from a particularly strong steel alloy. According to HONOR, the design has been tested for up to 500.000 folding cycles.
Despite this, the casing remains extremely slim. When closed, the device measures 8,75 mm, and when opened, it's only 4 mm thick. At around 219 g, it continues to be one of the lighter devices in its class.
Brighter display and reduced crease
The internal display measures 7,95 inches and is based on LTPO 2.0 AMOLED technology with an adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz. The resolution is 2.172 x 2.352 pixels. HONOR states that it has reduced the visible bezel by 44 percent compared to its predecessor. A new anti-reflective coating is intended to further improve readability. The maximum local peak brightness reaches up to 5.000 nits.
The external display measures 6,52 inches, also offers a variable refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz, as well as FHD+ resolution and reaches up to 6.000 nits. Both displays support stylus input and each features a 20 MP front camera.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and triple camera
Inside, it's powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chip is supported by 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
On the back, HONOR uses a triple camera system with a 50 MP main camera including optical image stabilization, a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens with triple optical zoom and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Large Si-C battery and long update warranty
Power is supplied by a 6.660 mAh silicon-carbon battery with a 25 percent silicon content. It can be charged at up to 80 W via cable or 66 W wirelessly. Wireless reverse charging is also supported.
The device ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. HONOR promises seven major Android updates. Additionally, compatibility with Apple devices will be expanded, for example, in notification synchronization and data exchange with Macs.
Price and availability
According to current information, the price of the HONOR Magic V6 in Germany is expected to start at around 2.000 EUR for the 16 GB / 512 GB version.
The manufacturer officially unveiled the device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, with a premiere on March 1st before the start of the trade fair.

HONOR has not yet announced final, official MSRPs for Europe or specific dealer launch dates.
