New design could be reminiscent of Galaxy Z Flip 7
Although there are no concrete images or official specifications yet, initial rumors suggest that the Magic V Flip 2 has undergone some design changes compared to its predecessor.
A key upgrade is likely to be the rear camera layout. While the predecessor featured differently sized camera cutouts, the new model will now feature two equally sized sensor openings. The recently introduced Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, whose cameras are placed in a symmetrical arrangement above the external display.

Smart cover display and large battery
HONOR has also apparently improved the user interface of the external display. The new UI is supposed to be cleaner and more functional, allowing for faster actions, notifications, and selfies with the main camera.
Rumors also point to a larger battery. This is likely to exceed the V Flip's 4.800 mAh battery by several hundred mAh, making it larger than 5.000 mAh. There will also be support for fast charging at 66 or 80 watts.
HONOR is expected to use even better camera sensors and also adopt the AI-powered features of current Magic OS versions. Under the hood, a current Snapdragon 8 chip is expected to provide enhanced performance.
European launch not excluded
The first Magic V Flip was introduced exclusively in China in January 2024 and never officially came to Europe. This could change with the Magic V Flip 2. HONOR is already gaining a stronger presence in the global market with the Magic V5, and the new Flip model definitely has the potential to impress internationally as well.
The official launch is expected sometime in August. Whether HONOR will venture beyond its borders this time remains exciting.
