Design: Porsche-typical elegance
While the Magic 7 Pro is available in the simple colors Lunar Shadow Grey, Breeze Blue and Black, the RSR model offers significantly more exclusivity. Provence, a striking shade of purple, and Agate Grey make the device immediately recognizable as a Porsche Design product.
The design is complemented by a hexagonal camera module and clear lines, inspired by the dynamic shapes of Porsche sports cars. The difference is also evident in the material. The anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield promises maximum protection and gives the case a special feel.

Camera: Some extras
Both models share the basic camera configuration - a triple setup with a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 200 MP telephoto camera. In detail, however, the RSR model offers some upgrades worth mentioning:
- Telephoto camera: The aperture has been increased from f/2.6 (Magic 7 Pro) to f/1.88 (RSR), which captures more light and should produce better results, especially for night shots.
- LiDAR Matrix Autofocus: Exclusive to the RSR, this system with 1200 focus points promises faster and more precise focusing.
- Main camera: Both models use an f/1.4–f/2.0 system, but the RSR also offers optimized image processing for more dynamic scenes and contrasts.

Performance: Mostly identical
In terms of performance, both the HONOR Magic 7 Pro and the HONOR Magic 7 RSR are equipped with the currently most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite. The octa-core processor with a peak frequency of 4,32 GHz in combination with the Adreno 830 GPU delivers top performance for demanding multitasking, mobile gaming and AI-supported applications.
When it comes to memory, however, the RSR is much more generous. Instead of the 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage of the Magic 7 Pro, it offers 24 GB RAM and 1 TB internal storage.
The battery is also a bit larger. With a capacity of 5750 mAh, it has an advantage over the 5270 mAh of the Magic 7 Pro (EU). Both models support the ultra-fast 100W HONOR SuperCharge, which fully charges the battery in just about 30 minutes.

Because Germany always and everywhere thinks it has to do everything differently and plagues the whole world with senseless regulations and bureaucracy, along with the GDPR.
The normal HMP 7 also has 16 GB in China instead of the castrated 12 GB in the EU.

Hello, why does the RSR have the bigger battery and the 7 Pro doesn't? I don't understand it. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
