From announcement to implementation
At the MWC 2025 in Barcelona, HONOR presented the so-called ALPHA Plan, which is intended to mark the transformation from a pure smartphone provider to a provider of a comprehensive AI ecosystem.
With the recently opened store in Shenzhen Bay MixC, the company is putting this plan into practice. The store is both a retail space and an innovation center, where visitors can try out various AI applications in everyday life in all-scenario experience zones.
AI scenarios and YOYO assistant in focus
YOYO, HONOR's digital assistant, plays a central role. In a dedicated YOYO Zone, it showcases the application of AI in lifestyle, assistance, content creation, and companionship.
In addition to simple voice commands, the assistant should also retrieve context-based information and use it for personalized suggestions, for example when booking travel or making restaurant recommendations.
Meeting place for the tech community
In addition to product and AI demonstrations, the store also integrates a social space, the AI Inspiration Café, designed to offer creatives, developers, and visitors the opportunity to engage in dialogue. HONOR thus also sees the location as a platform for cultural and technological encounters.
The ALPHA flagship store in Shenzhen is now open to the public.
