Design and display: Flat meets curved
HONOR plays with contrasts. The basic model, the HONOR 300, comes with flat sides and a clean, straight-lined look. The Pro and Ultra models, on the other hand, rely on curved edges that allow the display and housing to merge seamlessly. The design is modern, elegant and - yes, somehow familiar. The similarities to the HUAWEI Pura 70 series are hard to miss.
The displays also leave nothing to be desired. The HONOR 300 has a 6,7-inch OLED display with 2664 × 1220 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the Pro and Ultra models offer a larger 6,78-inch OLED panel with 2700 × 1224 pixels and curved edges. All three displays achieve a strong 4000 nits peak brightness - perfect for sunny days - and are easy on the eyes even during nighttime binge sessions thanks to 3840 Hz PWM dimming.

Performance: A bit of everyday life, a bit of high-end
Here HONOR clearly divides the target groups. The HONOR 300 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 , a solid mid-range chip that is more than enough for streaming, social media and apps. If you want more - for example for gaming or multitasking - the Pro and Ultra use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 , one of the most powerful chips on the market, which is used in the HONOR Magic 6 Pro is installed.
Both high-end models offer up to 16 GB of RAM and a maximum of 1 TB of storage, which puts them in direct competition with flagships from other manufacturers, but also with their own Magic series.

Cameras: Welcome to the Magic area
The HONOR 300 series is particularly ambitious when it comes to cameras, with the Ultra model's features almost on par with the Magic series.
- HONOR 300 : 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX906, OIS) and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera – solid, versatile, but without any big surprises.
- HONOR 300 Pro: There is also a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom – ideal for portraits or closer details.
- HONOR 300 Ultra: A 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3,8x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom makes the Ultra an exciting tool for photography enthusiasts.
All models also offer a 50 MP front camera and are equipped with AI features that deliver good results even in low light.

Battery and charging: Fast, no matter how
All three models have a 5300 mAh battery that easily lasts a day. With 100-watt fast charging, the battery reaches 15% capacity in just 59 minutes. Pro and Ultra also offer 80 watts of wireless charging. One of the best values currently available on the market.

Prices and availability: Another Chinese exclusive hit
The prices in China are quite attractive:
- HONOR 300 : From 2299 Yuan (~300 €)
- HONOR 300 Pro : From 3399 Yuan (~445 €)
- HONOR 300 Ultra : From 4199 Yuan (~550 €)
It is currently still uncertain whether the series will be released internationally. Looking at HONOR's past releases, a global launch is not out of the question, but will not happen for a few months at the earliest.
It is quite possible that HONOR will skip the series completely and surprise us in the summer with a HONOR 400. HONOR took a similar approach with the HONOR 100 series, which was reserved exclusively for the Chinese market.

Mr Sebastino
I wish the prices were the same in Europe... I actually like the Ultra, but you're increasingly noticing that the annual upgrades are becoming more and more small updates. I don't see any reason to wait from a 200 Pro to the 300 Ultra, or am I missing something?
